Dr. Victor Young

Dr. Victor Young is the founder of FLBC in Johnson City, Tenn. FLBC is a rapidly growing church with a unique outreach and ministry that welcomes people from all strata’s of society. Dr. young holds a Bachelor of Biblical Education degree from Graham Bible College and is a recipient of their Alumnus of the Year Award. His graduate studies include Emmanuel School of Religion, Luther Rice Seminary, culminating with a Doctor of ministry degree from Trinity Evangelical Seminary, and post-doctoral studies in hermeneutics and soteriology at the University of Oxford, Oxford, England.

Dr. Young’s professional career includes twenty-six years as a full-time pastor, a talk show host on several radio and television stations, a former board and executive committee member as well as instructor at Graham Bible College in Theology, Oral Communications, World Regions, and Cults. his current ministry at FLBC is the source of many newspaper, radio, and television interviews. Whether in prison ministries, churches, teaching and lecturing in Haiti, Ireland, or California, Dr. Young’s desire is to, “Preach the Word; be instant in season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”

Dr. Young was included in the 2000-01 edition of the “National Register’s Who’s Who In Executive and Professionals”. His writings include newspaper articles, tracts, and several books.

Dr. Young’s greatest recognition is being the husband of Linda Jane (Masters) Young, father of Matthew and Victoria, and Papaw to Clayton, Skyler, Mattisun and Landon
